A digital only sampler of tracks taken from Snow Patrol’s two Jeepster albums, ‘Songs For Polarbears’ and ‘When It’s All Over We Still Have To Clear Up’, plus two previously unreleased songs was made available in download stores from Monday 23rd July.
Simply entitled ‘Snow Patrol’, the twelve track compilation combines some songs from the band’s first two records which newer fans may already be familiar with alongside some that are less well known. It also features two previously unreleased recordings from 1998, the beautiful ‘Santa Maria’ and ‘Even Touching Dundee’ which captures the band’s response to the bombing of Omagh in their native Northern Ireland the same year.
