Snow Patrol To Play Live8

It has been announced that Snow Patrol will be appearing alongside the biggest names in music as part of Live 8 on July 2nd in Hyde Park. The event will see 5 massive concerts take place in London, Philadelphia, Berlin, Rome and Paris virtually simultaneously to raise awareness of Global Poverty ahead of the G8 Summit.
The stellar cast of acts includes U2, Coldplay, Robbie Williams, Madonna and REM as well some of the best new UK acts including Razorlight, Keane and Muse. Tickets for the show will be free, but will only available to people who win a text lottery, which is due to take place on June 6.
