Snow Patrol UK and Europe Tour Dates Announced

Snow Patrol have confirmed that they are to release their fourth album, ‘Eyes Open’, the follow up to the quadruple-platinum album Final Straw, in April and after selling out a series of secret gigs in Edinburgh, Belfast and Arran and an exclusive show at London’s Koko in April the band have announced that they will be touring more extensively in Europe and the UK over the next few months.
The first dates will be in Europe at the end of February and into March and these will be the first chance for fans on the continent to see the band since their support slots with U2 last summer. The dates are as follows and ticket information can be found in the tour section of the band’s website:
February 28th – Caracol, Madrid, Spain
March 2nd – Forest National, Brussels, Belgium (supporting deus) *SOLD OUT*
March 4th – Vega Jnr, Copenhagen, Denmark *SOLD OUT*
March 6th – Prime Club/Stadtgarden, Cologne, Germany
March 7th – Melkweg, Amsterdam, Holland *SOLD OUT*
March 10th – Noveau Casino, Paris, France *SOLD OUT*
Following this the band will take to the road in the UK for a tour which will coincide with the release of the new album. 
The 6 dates across the UK and Ireland begin at Dublin Castle, Dublin on the 29th April and end with 2 nights at The Forum, London on the 5th and 6th of May. Tickets for all UK shows are on general sale now, priced £17.50, via www.seetickets.com, except Glasgow which will be on sale through www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
Tickets for the Dublin date which will be part of the Heineken Green Energy Festival 2006 will go on general sale on Friday 10th February with tickets priced €34.50 via www.ticketmaster.ie.
