Snow Patrol Return!

Over a year and a half since their last release, ‘Up To Now’, Snow Patrol are back and are set to release a brand new single and album in 2011.

‘Called Out In The Dark’, will be the first single to be taken from the new album. The track was given it’s worldwide exclusive first play on Thursday 21st July on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show in the UK and is now available to listen to on the band’s website snowpatrol.com.

The single, which was recorded in Topanga Canyon, Los Angeles with longtime producer Garret ‘Jacknife’ Lee, will be released as a single track and an EP in the UK on September 4th. In the interview which followed the first play of ‘Called Out In The Dark’ on Radio 1 Gary Lightbody revealed that the title of the band’s sixth studio album will be ‘Fallen Empires’. The album will be released on Fiction later in the year.
