The event will take place in London’s Hyde Park on July 27th, with those attending the concert able to watch the opening ceremony celebrations – taking place at the Olympic Stadium – on giant screens.

Each band has been chosen to represent the four home nations, Scotland (Paolo Nutini), England (Duran Duran), and Wales (Stereophonics), with Snow Patrol set to headline the evening’s celebrations -representing Northern Ireland.
