Snow Patrol To Headline Olympic Opening Ceremony Concert!

Snow Patrol will join Duran Duran, Stereophonics and Paolo Nutini this July at a huge concert set to mark the opening of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The event will take place in London’s Hyde Park on July 27th, with those attending the concert able to watch the opening ceremony celebrations – taking place at the Olympic Stadium – on giant screens.

Each band has been chosen to represent the four home nations, Scotland (Paolo Nutini), England (Duran Duran), and Wales (Stereophonics), with Snow Patrol set to headline the evening’s celebrations -representing Northern Ireland.
