i can see the moon from the
window in my room it’s not
quite full but in a day or two
it’s giant eye will open just
for you and even in the day
your watching me sometimes just
now and then i’m sure i see you
blink and squint i see you
blink and squint look to the
sky and wonder why you’re crying
tonight just focus on the moon
and maybe it’ll put you
straight* as sun and moon
conspire the time you have left
here to smile grows less with
every day
