The God Help the Girl: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack has been confirmed for release on August 18th in the UK and September 2nd in North America via Milan Entertainment.
We’re pleased to say that among the instrumental interludes from the film which are included are two recordings which have previously been released by Jeepster, ‘Fuck This Shit’ from the Storytelling album and a little know track called ‘Invisible’ which first appeared on the Fans Only DVD.
Also on the album are three new songs by Stuart Murdoch: “Pretty When the Wind Blows”, “I Dumped You First”, and “I’m Not Rich” and re-recorded or remixed versions of tracks from the original God Help The Girl album, all now performed by the film’s cast. It also features the original version of Belle and Sebastian’s “Dress Up in You”, plus dialogue and bits of score from the film.
