‘If You’re Feeling Sinister’ 25th Anniversary
Added on 13th December 2021

Originally released on 18th November 1996, and considered by critics to be Belle and Sebastian’s seminal album, ‘If You’re Feeling Sinister’ is now celebrating its 25th Anniversary. Recorded in Glasgow at CaVa Studios in August 1996 over just 10 days, it was the first album released on Jeepster Records.

As part of the celebrations, the album is being released on 26th November on a limited one-time pressing of red transparent vinyl, with all songs as originally recorded and mastered.

A 25th Anniversary poster has also been produced, featuring the work of the band’s original artwork designer reworked to match the colour of the album. The poster is printed on A2 200gsm silk paper and was originally a promo poster for a very early rare gig in Glasgow that took place in October 1996, where songs recorded for the album were played live for the first time.
