Belle & Sebastian Confirm Album Details

Belle & Sebastian have confirmed that their new album entitled “The Life Pursuit” will be released in the UK and Europe on February 6th 2006 by Rough Trade Records. The record will be available in the USA and Canada from February 7th through Matador Records and will be released by Trama in Brazil and Toshiba EMI in Japan as usual. In Australia the album will be released by Shock.

The album will be preceded by a single, “Funny Little Frog”, on January 16th. 
Belle and Sebastian recently recorded six of the songs from their new album in an exclusive live television performance for BBC Scotland’s ‘The Music Show’.
