School’s Out! More Belle & Sebastian European Summer Dates Added.
Added on 01st June 2004

On Saturday June 12th, in association with the West End Festival, the band will be holding a FREE gig/mini-festival/party in Glasgow’s Botanic Gardens. At the event, called ‘School’s Out’, they will be joined by V-Twin, Camera Obscura, The Trashcan Sinatras, Mother & The Addicts and The James Orr Complex. It’s the first time the Botanics has ever hosted an event of this kind. It will run from 3pm to 9pm. No tickets are needed, you can just turn up, there’s room for 10,000.
Not content with offering a day’s top entertainment, the band have decided to keep the party going well into the night with their own event called “Stay Loose” at the Queen Margaret Union. It starts directly after ‘School’s Out’. Tickets for ‘Stay Loose’ are £10 with all profits going to Friends of the Earth Scotland. You can buy them online from www.wayahead.com or www.tickets-scotland.com. Alternatively you can buy them in person from the QM box office in Lilybank Gardens or Tickets Scotland in Argyle St, Glasgow. Please note that this is an over 18’s event and id will be needed.
