SixNationState
And Now For Something Different – SixNationState Video Album
Added on 10th April 2008

Following a triumphant year of accolades, injuries and mayhem, of supporting The Holloways, storming Truck Festival and garnering acclaim from XFM, Radio 1, Dermot O’Leary and Jonathan Ross, SixNationState have re-mustered and taken their musical tour de force up a step or three by making an albums worth of videos with their own fair hands.
Having toured relentlessly playing 250+ gigs in twelve months not only in traditional venues but also adding shows at their fans’ request in homes, schools, offices and even the Avon canteen, SixNationState now look to harness their creativity in another way to embrace the new media age and offer the world the chance to SEE as well as HEAR their music.
Late last year, squeezed between tours of Europe the band decided to do something rather special and release a veritable goody bag of artistic loveliness in the form of an album of videos. Some of these are the official promos for the band’s singles but most have been filmed, edited and animated by the band themsleves. From the stop-start urban animation of ‘Up & Down’ to the Chaplin-esque ‘I Hate The Summer’, this compendium of creative visual pleasure is a window into the unique world of SixNationState.
