Belle & Sebastian ‘It Could Have Been A Brilliant Career’
Added on 14th August 2014

We’re excited to announce that we will be reissuing the deluxe gatefold 3LP of ‘Push Barman To Open Old Wounds’ on October 6th! This will be the first time that the vinyl format of the album has been available since it was first released in 2005.

The re-release will be part of a worldwide vinyl reissue series that we are running in conjunction with Rough Trade Records and Matador Records in North America. Entitled ‘It Could Have Been A Brilliant Career’ the campaign will mean that all Belle & Sebastian’s LPs, some of which have been out of print for a while, will once again be available. There’s a special website for the campaign here.

We’ll be including all our Belle & Sebastian albums and, from the October 6th launch date vinyl copies of all the records will be packaged in a heavyweight protective outer sleeve with a Jeepster sticker to keep them secure. They will also include an obi strip featuring the ‘It Could Have Been A Brilliant Career’ series artwork and a download card for a free digital copy of the album.

To celebrate the repromotion of the albums and the re-issue of ‘Push Barman To Open Old Wounds’ we’ll be offering anyone who spends £60 in our store before the launch date a free limited edition Jeepster tote bag.
