Belle & Sebastian ‘Paper Boat’ Out Now
Added on 01st May 2015

To coincide with the launch of his new book ‘In The All Night Cafe: A Memoir Of Belle and Sebastian’s Formative Year’ founding Belle and Sebastian member Stuart David posted a video for ‘Paper Boat’, a previously unreleased studio recording by the band.

Now, to continue the celebrations and commemorate the book’s publication in the USA, we’re giving ‘Paper Boat’ a full digital release. It’s available now to buy or stream in all good digital stores or from our shop.

The song was written and recorded by Stuart David around the time of the EP releases which followed Belle and Sebastian’s ‘If You’re Feeling Sinister’ album.

The video for the song was made by long time Belle and Sebastian collaborator and Looper member Karn David and features footage of band members Stuart Murdoch and Isobel Campbell on a trip to Banchory in 1998. You can watch it here

Stuart’s book is available now in the UK and published today in the US by Chicago Review Press on May 1st.
