Belle & Sebastian Single Details Confirmed

Belle & Sebastian have announced full details of the formats for their forthcoming single release ‘Funny Little Frog’ which will be available to download from iTunes on January 10th and to buy in the shops from January 16th.  The single will be the first to be taken from the new album ‘The Life Pursuit’.
The single is only going to be released in the UK and will be available in 3 formats:
CD single – including additional tracks ‘Meat & Potatoes’ and ‘I Took A Long Hard Look’
7″ – including ‘The Eighth Station of the Cross Kebab House’
DVD single  – featuring the video for ‘Funny Little Frog’ and a live version of ‘Lazy Line Painter Jane’ recorded at the band’s show at The Botanics in Glasgow in June 2004.
A live version of ‘Funny Little Frog’, recorded recently at the G2 in Glasgow, is also available to download from www.7digital.com or by texting BELLE FLF to 81330.
As all the formats are different www.recordstore.co.uk and HMV will be offering them at a special price of £5 for all three.
To celebrate the release, Belle & Sebastian will be appearing instore at Virgin, Princes St, Edinburgh at 12.00pm on the Tuesday 17th, and at 5.00pm that same day at Virgin, Buchanan St, Glasgow. The band will also be performing ‘Funny Little Frog’ on Top Of The Pops, it will be broadcast in the UK on Sunday 22nd January.
