Alongside Mercury winners Franz Ferdinand and other artists including David Bowie and Muse, Belle & Sebastian and Snow Patrol have reached the initial list of 70 albums nominated for the prize by the appointed panel of experts. This year’s panel includes Jim Jarmusch, Norah Jones, 3D from Massive Attack, Robert Smith, Jack Black, Josh Homme, Perry Farrell and others.
