Salako, regrettably, are named after the Native American god of rain rather than the erratic Fulham midfielder.  Plangent and not unpleasant, ‘Growing Up In The Night’ is a workshy schoolboy of a tune with its head in the clouds and its brain in neutral.  Pretty soon it’ll start smoking behind the bike sheds and puking on Woodpecker and Thunderbird at house parties, but for the moment it’s still quite good fun to hang out with.
